Lautaro Mitelman

I’m a software engineer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’ve spent the last eight years building backend systems at scale.

Today I’m at Strike, working on AI-led offensive security. We build a platform that combines AI agents with elite security researchers to run continuous attack simulations, helping companies find vulnerabilities before attackers do. We recently raised $13.5M in Series A.

Before Strike, I was at Pomelo, where I helped build the initial technical architecture that supported the company through a $35M Series A and a $40M Series B. Our card platform handled over 50M transactions daily, powering fintechs to issue credit, debit, and prepaid cards and process payments.

That came after Naranja X, Argentina’s largest credit card issuer, where I worked on backend systems serving millions of users through their mobile app and powering operations across 170 physical branches.

I work primarily with Kotlin, Go, and TypeScript. I’ve spent most of my career designing microservices, event-driven architectures, and systems where reliability and performance aren’t optional.

Outside of work, I’m training for half-marathons, lifting at the gym, and reading about science, health, and finance. This blog is where I’m figuring out what I want to say about all of this. I also write about philosophy and lifestyle on Medium.
